Illustrative — a day in the life of one configured bot. Every block on the bottom lane exists because you put it there: the entry condition, the size, the stop, the flat-by-close. We do not add rules of our own, and we never decide what you should trade.

The bench

Pick one. Set your risk in dollars.
That is the whole setup.

No rule builders, no indicator soup, no DSL to learn on the way in. Twelve strategies ship with the platform; these three are where most people start. Everything advanced is still there, folded away until you want it.

Trend / QQQ

Trend Follower

Rides an uptrend and steps aside when the trend breaks. The plain-vanilla place most people start.

The botBuy & holdReturn+39%+58%Worst drop−23%−35%

The catchSat out the 2022 crash — so, less total gain, and far less drawdown.

Accumulate / SPY

Smart DCA

Buys on a schedule, and buys harder into weakness. Nothing to watch, nothing to time.

The botBuy & holdReturn+23%+52%Worst drop−17%−25%

The catchAverages in over time — not an apples-to-apples match against a lump sum.

Mean reversion / AAPL

Bounce Buyer

Waits for a washout in a name you already like, takes a measured swing, gets out at your target.

The botBuy & holdReturn+4%+53%Worst drop−6%−33%

The catchUltra-conservative — mostly in cash, tiny drawdown, modest return.

Figures are backtested on historical data over the window shown in the catalog — not live results, and not a forecast. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Setup

Three things, about ten minutes.

Connect your broker

Alpaca, Coinbase, or one of 15 brokerages through SnapTrade. The connection is trade authorisation on an account that stays entirely yours, and you can revoke it from either side, at any time.

Set the rules

Pick a strategy, then answer questions in dollars: how much per position, where the stop sits, when to stop for the day. Want the rule builder and the raw parameters? They are one click away, folded shut until then.

Clock out

It works the session. You get a plain log of every action and the reason for it, and a kill switch on every screen. Turn it off mid-trade and it stops — no notice period, no exit fee.

The bright lines

Four things we will not do,
however much easier it would make this.

  • 01

    We never hold your money

There is no Clock Out Capital wallet, balance or omnibus account. Your cash and your positions sit at your own brokerage the entire time, under your own name. We hold an authorisation to place orders there, and nothing else.

  • 02

We never tell you what to trade

We are not a registered investment adviser and we do not act like one. No buy lists, no calls, no tips. The platform runs the rules you configured; if a rule was not yours, it is not in there.

  • 03

We never match you against another user

Every order goes out to a real venue through your broker. There is no internal book, no counterparty relationship with us, and nothing to unwind if we disappear tomorrow.

  • 04

You can pull the plug from any screen

One control, on every page, in every state. Stop a bot mid-session and it stops. Revoke the broker connection and we lose the ability to do anything at all.

The questions you should ask

Before you connect anything.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Backtested or hypothetical performance does not guarantee future results, and a strategy that worked in one market regime can fail in another. Do not put in money you cannot afford to lose. Work out what a trade puts at risk →

So you are trading my account for me?

No. You set the rules and we execute exactly those, on your broker, through an authorisation you control. There are no discretionary trades — nobody here decides to do something your configuration did not say to do.

Is this regulated investment advice?

No. Clock Out Capital is software. We are not an investment adviser or a broker-dealer, we do not recommend specific securities, and we never hold your funds.

Which brokers work?

Alpaca for stocks and options. SnapTrade-connected brokers — Fidelity, Schwab, Robinhood, IBKR among them — for stocks. Coinbase plus 100+ CEX venues for crypto. More adapters land as we test them. See the full broker list →

What happens if I want out?

Stop the bot from any screen and it stops. Revoke the broker connection and we lose the ability to place an order at all. Your positions are already in your own account, so there is nothing to withdraw from us and nothing to wait for.

The session is running right now

CLOCK OUT.

The market is open as you read this, and you are reading this instead of watching it. That is exactly the gap the platform is for.
